Being new to Virginia, this was the first time I had been to Virginia Tech Duck Pond and campus!
When I pulled up to Virginia Tech Campus for the first time, I was wowed! Such a beautiful campus! I now know why the Hokies, Will and Tia, wanted to take their engagement portraits here! Duck Pond was a lot bigger than I had pictured, I loved it there! I’d love to go back in the spring, summer, or fall to see how it looks in those seasons.
This couple was so much fun and outgoing. It was a perfect day in January for an engagement session. It was sunny and almost 60 degrees! Who would ever thought it would be so warm in January! Tia was back home from school, so they wanted to get their portraits done while she was back home, before she had to go back. This couple plans to pick a wedding date towards the end of the year for 2024, how exciting!
Will and Tia’s love story started here, at Virginia Tech. You could easily see the love between these two! We did quite bit of walking from Virginia Tech Duck Pond to Torgersen Hall bridge, but it was well worth it for these portraits! They made my job so, so easy!
I loved my time at this session and hope to do it again soon!
