As soon as I made my way to the top of Shenandoah National Park, I was in awe!
This was my first time at this national park. I loved it! It does remind me a lot of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Roanoke. I do love mountain top scenery!
I met Kyle and Alison for the first time, and we started our hike up to this great spot to take their engagement portraits. This couple was so much fun! I learned quickly that Kyle and Alison both love the outdoors and hiking. They wanted somewhere with breathtaking mountain views, like Shenandoah National Park or the Blue Ridge Mountains. With me being new to Virginia, I did some extensive research for this couple and found the perfect spot at Shenandoah National Park for their portraits! I have been wanting to visit this national park for awhile now, so this was perfect! These two are so adventurous and did whatever it took to get that epic photo, even standing on a ledge! I’m not going to lie, I was pretty nervous with them being on the ledge a few times, but they were as calm as could be. We ended up ending the evening with an awesome sunset at an overlook.
I cannot wait to photograph their wedding this year!
