The Todd Extended Family | Smith Mountain Lake VA Family Photographer

It was a beautiful day for an extended family session at the lake!

Just like all my extended family sessions, they were vacationing at Smith Mountain Lake! It is a great place to spend time with family. Smith Mountain Lake seems to be a good center location for most of the families I photograph. They rented a house for their get together and that’s where I took their pics! If a family as has a big open space at their rental home, we can use that location, but I do have other locations as well!

I love working with these big families! They are so much fun! I usually start off with the full group and then break off into individual families. Starting with the families who have younger kids first. You know how kids are, they just want to play! I always get fun shots with the littles. 🙂
