Nothing like being back in the Appalachian mountains for a Winter Ball. Eastern KY is my hometown!
I had the pleasure of photographing these two brothers for their winter ball. They were so much fun to work with and I’m not just saying that because they’re my nephews! 🙂 They were so easy going, as usual, and were up for anything!
We started off in and around their house and moved on to downtown Pikeville. There is an amazing, very narrow, alley in downtown that I’ve fallen in love with! I love taking pictures in Pikeville! There are so many places to choose from that can be used as a good backdrop! Top of the mountain? Sure! Beautiful downtown? Yes!
One of the brothers had a date, who was just the sweetest! It had rained all day, but finally quit when we were about to take pictures! YAY! So, the day ended up being the best! The rain didn’t hold us back!
