Thomas + Laurel
It was a beautiful day for a surprise proposal at Smith Mountain Lake!
Thomas planned this proposal so well! He contacted me to capture their special moment and a few portraits after. He had a plan to have me there photographing “turtles” in the water at a specific spot on a trail at Smith Mountain Lake. They were going to walk up to look for turtles too, even though there was no turtles. 😉 And that is when he proposed, such a great idea! Laurel had no idea! This was my first proposal and I absolutely loved it! I’m so glad that Thomas found me to capture it!
