As a Smith Mountain Lake family photographer, I love when I get to meet families vacationing in this beautiful part of Virginia.

This sweet family was visiting the lake and wanted to capture some memories while everyone was together and I’m so glad they did! We met at one of my favorite spots around Smith Mountain Lake, which offers the perfect backdrop for relaxed, natural family portraits. From the shimmering water to the peaceful tree-lined shores, it’s a dream location for photography.

The two little ones did such an amazing job! Full of smiles, energy, and personality. We kept the session light and fun so everyone could enjoy the experience. It was truly a joy photographing this beautiful family!

I hope they had a great time at the lake and I hope to see them again soon! 🙂
